It's one of the most expensive phones I've bought but it's also one of the crappiest. The bluetooth connection to my car sounds like I'm using a broken audio cord like my music will crack on the speaker, its weird. If it's on speaker while I'm on the phone. NO ONE CAN HEAR ME. Oh and you have to close all all apps while your in a phone call because you and usually the other person can still hear them softly playing overtop of you.
This phone has nice features like a big screen and a loud speaker but that's honestly it I regret spending $150 on it but it might be worth like $60-$70 so if you can buy it cheaper do if not I would not get this phone.

Feels like a downgrade
Went from a galaxy j7 crown and it feels like i downgraded. Battery life is awful. Had my phone off the charger for an hour and a half and am already at 60% and thats with barely using it. Volume is bad compared to my previous phone. Doesn't get loud at all. When on full volume if you go down a level in volume you almost can't hear it. Camera quality is just about the same despite having 2 lenses. (Main reason i got the phone was for hopefully better camera quality) if you're thinking of getting this phone save your money and get something cheaper. It'll probably be the same quality just without the fancy just for show lense.

Junk Phone
I ordered my Samsung Galaxy A20 on Sept 27, 2020. I have had nothing but trouble since I recieved it. I have called and complained about it but continue to get the run around. I'm told now that Straight talk isn't responsible for replacement. I'm not going to pay for something I have to reboot everytime I'm on it. The screen keeps freezing up and I can't do anything until I reboot it. I've done everything they have told me to do but the problem is still there. I'm very upset and I'm looking into what I can do. Don't buy anything from straight talk or smart pay. Unless something is done I'm cancelling my monthly payments to smart pay.

Budget Phone with some great features!
My wife and I both upgraded our T Mobile phones to the Galaxy A20 and we glad that we did.
This is not a top of the line phone but you won't know that by the features.

decent battery life - check

minimual bloatware installed - check
octa-core Exynos 7884 processor - check
fast charging - check
I have to say Samsung got it right on this phone and I believe it will appeal to alot of people looking for a phone that won't break the bank. So far we have had no issues with our phone since we got them in July 2019.

I've had my a20 for a week and everything is great. I decided to get the a20 after my 2016 j3 luna pro was just too old. Big difference between the two. Operating system on the a20 is smooth and responsive. You really have to pay attention to the settings, as there are many. I'm still getting the configuration I want I've read all the reviews on this phone and I can say mine has no such problems.
After the initial set up it went to a system up date so maybe this is why no problems?

Had this phone for about a day now!
This phone is amazing. I picked this up because I needed a new phone due to my old one being very old. I was interested in switching from Apple to Samsung. Now I can see why this is getting such great reviews here are my pros.
Pros:
- Great Battery Life
- Great Price
- Amazing camera specifically in day light
- Great size
- Great display
Cons:
Speaker could be placed better. But sounds great anyways.
So overall this is a great phone for a student, plays games and watches videos very well and is very easy to use.

Don't waste your money with this junk!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] sorry but this phone sucks.
i'm a samsung user for a long time, always used the note series, my note5 stopped to work month ago and i couldn't expend money at the moment due to the whole crisis around, so i opted for this a20 .
first 2 days were good, the the whole thing became sluggish, have to tap several times to phone act, today installed spotify, and the whole thing is a joke, phone stays almost a minute to start a song or to do a search.
i'm very disappointed even knowing is not one of the top models, i've expected a minimum of usability.

Great phone for budget price
The Galaxy A20 is an excellent choice for anyone who wants a solid phone but doesn't want to pay a lot. I have owned a few of Samsungs flagship Galaxy S phones and while they are great, the price is a massive issue to most people. This phone and the A50 are great alternatives. You wont find all the bells and whistles that the expensive phones have but it does have plenty of features, the screen resolution is good, and the phone is responsive.
